Ukranian boy photographed for the UNHCR in 1998. From memory, I think he was the grandson of the older man we photographed. He was a sweet kid and like every Ukrainian I met, an absolute pleasure to work with. I imagine he’d be in his early thirties now and quite likely he’ll be fighting to protect his country. I hope he’s safe.
